This website (getspeak.ing)

• No tracking: no analytics, no cookies, no advertising, no third-party scripts. The fonts are served from this site.
• No forms: this site asks you for nothing and stores nothing about you.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses in access logs for security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), deleted on a short rotation of [X days].
• Links out: the store badges, the source and the giving page lead to Google Play, the App Store, GitHub and Stripe. Each of those processes data under its own privacy policy from the moment you arrive there.

The app

Get Speaking runs on your phone. Your goals, the people and situations you describe, every practice and its recording, every real conversation you debrief, and your screening answers live on your device and nowhere else. There is no account, no server of ours, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no analytics library in the app — the source is public, so this is checkable.

The one exception is the model call you configure yourself: during a practice, and when the app builds a brief or a scorecard, what you said and the description you wrote are sent to the AI provider whose key you pasted — EdenAI or OpenAI — under that provider's terms, on your own account. Nothing is sent for screening or crisis detection; both run on the device. You can remove the key, export everything as one file, or delete everything from inside the app at any time.

The app asks for one permission, the microphone, at your first practice, and uses it only during a practice. It never joins or records a real conversation.

Giving

The giving page opens a Stripe checkout. Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) processes your card details and email as an independent controller; we receive the amount and Stripe's reference, never your card. The app cannot know whether you gave.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), plus the right to complain to a supervisory authority — for Berlin: the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. For the app there is nothing on our side to access or erase; the export and delete controls are in the app.
